HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (10-7 overall, 6-4 HCAC) dominated the Beavers of Bluffton on Saturday afternoon in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action, claiming the 73-35 victory.

Ty Houston (Union, Ky.) paced the attack as he netted a game-high 17 points with six rebounds. Junior
Brice Gilman (Clinton, Ind.) added 10 points.
After falling behind in the opening minutes, the Panther offense went to work. Junior
Matt Munoz (Indianapolis, Ind.) led the charge as he sparked a Hanover run that saw them claim the 14-8 advantage at the 12:22 mark.
They continued to push the tempo as Houston netted a three-pointer from the corner following a small inside out game that gave HC the double-digit lead, 20-10. Gilman quickly made his way into the scores column as he provided back-to-back daggers before a sophomore
Coleman Sater (Ellettsville, Ind.) layup extend the difference to 28-14.
Hanover closed out the opening frame raining three-pointers as they went 8-of-16 from behind the arc en route to the 40-18 advantage.
Houston paced the surge in the second half as he hit a pair of back-to-back jumpers that saw Hanover take the commanding 48-20 lead. The rest was history as the Panther defense held the Beavers to a season low 35 points en route to the HCAC victory.
The Blue and Red return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 25 when they travel to Rose-Hulman. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.
