HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (7-3 overall, 4-0 HCAC) tamed the Lions of Mt. St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action inside the confines of Collier Arena, 82-54.
Three Panthers finished in double figures paced by fifth year senior
Ty Houston (Union, Ky.) with a double-double netting 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Junior
Coleman Sater (Ellettsville, Ind.) added 13 points while senior
Max Greenamoyer (Zionsville, Ind.) recorded 12 points.
Hanover caught the Lions flat footed from the opening tip-off as they were able to surge ahead 15-4 following a Greenamoyer three-pointer. The domination continued as a 13-0 run over a seven minute span pushed the game nearly out of reach for MSJ, 30-8.
The Blue and Red offense fired on all cylinders in the first half as they entered the intermission with a commanding 37-13 advantage. Sater paced the first half attack with a team leading eight points.
MSJ looked to spark a comeback in the second half, but junior
