HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers battled to a 1-1 draw against the University of Chicago on Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Stadium and C. Wayne Perry Field.

Maggie Hinegardner (Fort Thomas, Ky.) played a stellar contest in frame charting five saves through 90 minutes of work.
As a unit, Hanover combined for five shots, three of which landed on goal.
The lone Panther strike came in the second minute as sophomore
Shalyn Hussey (Fishers, Ind.) deposited a deflected ball in front of frame for the 1-0 advantage.
However, a Panther mishap in the 31
st minute resulted in a Maroons penalty kick that knotted the contest 1-1.
The University of Chicago finished the afternoon with a game-high 15 shots, six of which landed on frame.
Hanover returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 10 when they travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take on the Hoosiers of Indiana University.
