HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover put pressure on the road contest at MSJ by using a series of three-point swings to claim a 21-16 difference. McCoy handled the rest as she recorded the set-winning kill, 25-23.

However, the Lions came roaring back winning both sets two and three to reclaim the home-court advantage.

Set four saw Hanover surge ahead, scoring the first six of seven points off the serve of freshman Madison Schicker (Fishers, Ind.) for the 6-2 lead. The turning point came midway through the set with a 5-0 run that saw HC on top 17-13. Junior Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.) forced the set five with a commanding kill off the assist by Schweitzer.

In the final set, Hanover claimed a slim advantage of 12-11 after an MSJ miscue. They continued to pressure the Lions, as McCoy connected for a kill that was blocked just inside the back touchline, securing the five-set win.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 2 when they travel to Anderson. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
