PREVIEW: Football to Compete in Forever Lawn Bowl - KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers are set to compete in the inaugural Opendorse Bowl Series as part of the Forever Lawn Bowl competing against Wabash at 1:00 PM.
 
FLO COLLEGE STREAMING
The Opendorse Bowl Series will be streamed live on Flo College. A subscription for the event is required.

Customers from Partner Conference schools that sign up using their institution's .edu email address will be able to subscribe for $9.99 per month or $71.88 per year ($5.99/month).

FOREVER LAWN BOWL PREVIEW
Hanover is set to compete in just their second ever Bowl Game but the first of its kind. The last Bowl Game appearance came in 1949 on Thanksgiving Day, in the Burley Bowl in Johnson City, Tenn.
 
The Forever Lawn Bowl will see Hanover take on Wabash for the third time since the 2012 season. Wabash has won both meetings—the first in 2012 by a score of 33-12 and the last in 2013 by a score of 69-0.
 
THE HANOVER 2024 SEASON
The Panthers finished the regular season 7-3 overall and 5-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action with their lone HCAC loss coming to Mount St. Joseph.
 
The regular season finale saw the Panthers defeat Franklin to maintain the Victory Bell by a score of 31-27. Sophomore Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns. He also added one rushing score.
 
Defensively, sophomore Saadiq Pasha (Hephzibah, Ga.) turned in a strong performance with three solo stops an interception and a pass breakup.
 
SEASON STATISTICS
The Panther defense has been a key part of their success ranking first in HCAC in the fewest points allowed (21.3 ppg), fewest points given up (213), and touchdowns allowed (28). They also ranked first in defense efficiency at 118.5.
 
Junior Michael Gordon (Nashville, Tenn.) leads the HCAC in punt return yards with 219, averaging 12.9 yards per return.
 
Eian Roudebush ranks second in the league in passing yards with 2,336 and a league-best 29 touchdowns. He has a 165.7 quarterback rating.
SIZING UP WABASH
The Little Giants enter the Forever Lawn Bowl with an 8-2 regular season record and a 7-1 mark in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
 
The season finale saw Wabash fall to DePauw in the Monon Bell Game, 42-21.
 
The little Giants enter the weekend averaging 35.90 points per game, 371.2 yards per game, and 5.9 yards per play.
