DELAWARE, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers competed as part of the two-day Ohio Wesleyan Mid-Season Meet over the weekend.
 
Junior Chet Paulsen (Bloomington, Ind.) had a successful weekend finishing second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:18.04. He also took eighth in the 200-yard freestyle. On day two he turned in a sixth place finish as part of the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:15.22.
 
The team of Paulsen, freshman Chaze Combs (Seymour, Ind.), sophomore Charlie Weida (Bloomington, Ind.), and sophomore Callum Buchanan (Franklin, Ind.) captured fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:31.65.
 
In the 100-yard butterfly, Callum Buchanan touched the wall in fifth in a time of 55.73 seconds. Day two saw Callum land third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:19.32.
 
Chaze Combs took ninth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.71.
 
Hanover finished sixth overall with a combined 180 points.
