Anderson, IN - The HC men's basketball team went head-to-head with the Ravens at Anderson University this afternoon in a road conference match-up. The Panthers were 6-2 overall and 2-1 in conference heading into today's game, while the Ravens sat at 6-3 overall and an HCAC record of 2-1 as well.

The first half of action saw the Ravens jumping out to an early six point lead and controlling the tempo of the game. Hanover was slow to get going and allowed AU to get out to their largest lead of the night of fourteen points at 13-27. The Panthers would battle back however, cutting the lead down to just one at 35-36 heading into the half.

In the second, the Ravens continued to maintain control over the pace of play. Hanover allowed another early run by the Orange and Black, but ultimately came back to keep things close the rest of the way.

The Panthers would ultimately fall short of their goal, and go on to lose 71-77. HC will return to action for a post-Christmas match-up against Dennison University at the Otterbein Classic in Westerville, OH. Game-day is set for December 29th at 6PM EST.
