TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Panthers (14-8 overall, 10-5 HCAC) used a second half outburst to defeat Rose-Hulman on Wednesday evening, 75-51.
Hanover finished with five in double figures led by senior
Ty Houston (Union., Ky.) with 15 points. Senior
Max Greenamoyer (Zionsville, Ind.) fell just one rebound shy of a double-double with nine rebounds and 13 points.
After a slow first half, Hanover came out firing on all cylinders. The Panthers were able to capture the double-digit lead at the 16:32 mark following back-to-back three-pointers by Houston.
The offense continued to perform as Greenamoyer three-pointer tied the Panthers largest lead to date, 65-45. The rest was history as HC went on to out score Rose-Hulman 44-25 in the second half for the win.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 10 when they travel to Defiance. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
