Louisville, Ky.- Hanover (21-10) took on Spalding University (24-10) on Tuesday evening in non-conference action. The game found both team's locked in a battle until the final inning with the Golden Eagles reigning victorious 6-5.

Dalton Sisson (Bowling Green, Ky.) got his third start of the year throwing six innings giving up five runs and striking out four. Senior
Wyatt Prather (Indianapolis, Ind.) came in for relief allowing one run and striking out one. Junior
Jaden Siemer (Edgewood, Ky.) closed the game with one strikeout.

The Powder Blue Boys struck first scoring two runs in the first inning on a record setting senior
Alex Christie (Greenwood, Ind.) RBI double.

Spalding was able to score one of their own in third but were answered by the Panthers in the fifth inning with a two RBI double by Christie.

The Eagles refused to be tamed scoring three runs in the sixth.

Hanover used a sacrifice fly hit by Junior
Andrew Oesterling (Batesville, Ind.) to tie the game at 5-5 after six innings of play.

Spalding got the final saying scoring thegame winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
The Panthers return to action on Wednesday, April 24 when they travel to Maryville, TN to take on Maryville College.
