MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Hanover (21-11 overall) dropped a non-conference contest on Wednesday evening at Maryville, 12-2.

Hanover experienced early woes on the bump as junior Ashton Dickman (Greenfield, Ind.) threw five complete innings allowing six runs on 10 hits.
Freshman Ashton Carrie (Madison, Ind.) got a complete inning allowing no hits on five batters faced with a walk and hit by pitch.

Maryville wasted little time as they were able to plate three runs on four hits in the bottom of the first inning.
They added an insurance run in the second inning, one in the fourth inning and one in the fifth inning for the 6-0 lead.
They secured the contest in the bottom of the sixth inning scoring six runs on three hits and a Panther error.
Hanover scored two runs in the seventh inning following a junior
Jake Danneman (Edgewood, Ky.) walk and a senior
Alex Christie (Greenwood, Ind.) hit to second base, 12-2.
