HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (8-8 overall) dominated Anderson as part of the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Tournament, winning the semifinal matchup 23-7.
THE TOURNAMENT
With the win, Hanover claims their 10
th straight victory over the Ravens and their second HCLC finals appearance since 2021.
Hanover will advance to the Championship to be held on Saturday at 4:00 PM at the highest remaining seed.

Four different Panthers tallied hat tricks, led by sophomore Ethan Adboo (Bloomington, Ind.) and sophomore
Colin O'Brien (Somers, Conn.) with four goals.
Senior
Will Slover (Versailles, Ky.) picked up a team-high nine ground balls while forcing two caused turnovers.
Junior
Lance Guttormson (West Bend, Wis.) claimed the save between the pipes tallying eight saves through 37 minutes of action.
PLAY-BY-PLAY
After surrendering the first goal, the Panther offense erupted. O'Brien paced the charge as he found the equalizer at the 9:48 mark, sparking a four goal outburst.
Four different Panthers recorded strikes during the span, pushing the HC first quarter advantage to 4-1.
The second period saw Adams pick up his second goal of the afternoon following a helper by senior
Zach Stone (Elizabethtown, Ky.) with 11:20 till the intermission, 6-2.
Hanover used another four goal surge to close out the second quarter before adding four more to open the third period. The push saw O'Brien complete his hat trick as Hanover blew the contest out of reach, 15-3.
Abdoo completed his three goal performance later in the frame finding the back of the net with 1:15 remaining, 18-5.
The final blow came from the stick of O'Brien as he propelled Hanover to the HCLC Semifinal victory.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 27 when they take on the winner of no. 4 seed Earlham and no. 1 seed Transylvania. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
