FRANKLIN, Ind. – Hanover (14-8 overall, 2-1 HCAC) retained the Golden Ball in its straight set victory over Franklin 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-20).

Junior Abbey McCoy paced the attack, claiming a game-high 11 kills for a .320 hitting percentage.
 
Sophomore Brooke Gervers added 12 assists while junior Megan Vogel dished out 10.
 
THE PLAY-BY-PLAY
Hanover dominated Franklin from the opening serve, surging ahead 5-1. The lead reached double-digits off the serve of sophomore Madison Schicker. The first set saw Hanover win 25-13, led by senior Elliot Mays.
 
The second set witnessed Hanover rally from behind, with Mays leading the charge. The senior rattled off three straight points, knotting the contest 21-21. With all the momentum in favor of the Panthers, senior Kelsey Waggoner sealed the deal.
 
The final set was dominated by the Blue and Red duo of Waggoner and McCoy who capped a four-point run that pushed HC in front 11-6. Hanover finished with a set high 13 kills and a .303 hitting percentage for the straight set win.
