Defensive Player of the Week after his stellar defensive performance against Manchester University this past weekend, marking the first player of the week award of his young collegiate career.

(Cincinnati, Ohio) was dominant in the Panthers' 76-7 win over Manchester. The freshman recorded an interception, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. He was a key member of a defense that held Manchester to under 30 yards of total offense in the first half.
He also [as a freshman] leads the Panthers in total pass breakups (3), and is tied for first in total interceptions (2) and fumble recoveries (1).
The Panthers take the field again on Saturday, on the road at Bluffton University. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30PM EST.
