LEXINGTON, Ky. – Hanover (15-10 overall, 3-3 HCAC) hit the road for Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action at Transylvania on Wednesday evening, falling in straight sets to the Pioneers 3-0 (16-25, 19-25, 15-25).

Senior Kelsey Waggoner added five kills and 10 digs, while teammate sophomore Madison Schicker collected 12 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover made a strong push in set one, catching the Pioneers off guard. The Panthers were able to use the serve of McCoy, knotting the contest at 6-6. Senior Elliot Mays halted a Transylvania 4-0 run that pushed them in front 10-7. Despite the early success from Hanover, the Pioneers were able to secure the win on a Panther hiccup.
