HANOVER, Ind. – The Panther Volleyball team (18-10 overall, 6-3 HCAC) secured home court advantage on Saturday evening, defeating the Ravens of Anderson in straight sets 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-23).

Madison Schicker collected a team-best 22 digs, leaving her just five shy of 1,000 career digs. Her teammate,
Megan Vogel dished out an impressive 23 assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover set the tone immediately in the opening set, jumping out to a commanding lead and never looking back. The Panthers hit an impressive .304 as a team while holding Anderson to just .054.
Kelsey Waggoner led the charge with seven kills on 11 attempts, while
Elliot Mays added five kills. Defensively,
Abbey McCoy anchored the back row with nine digs in the set alone. The 25-13 victory gave Hanover early momentum and confidence.
The second set proved more competitive as Anderson fought to stay in the match. Hanover maintained their offensive efficiency, hitting .216 while the Ravens improved to .245. Despite 11 ties and three lead changes throughout the set, the Panthers pulled away late to secure a 25-22 win. Mays continued her strong performance with six kills in the set, and the Hanover defense recorded 26 digs to weather Anderson's push.
Anderson refused to go quietly in the third set, keeping the score tight throughout. The set featured seven ties and three lead changes as both teams battled point-for-point. Hanover's hitting percentage dipped to .149, but it was enough to outlast the Ravens, who hit just .063. Freshman
Kinzee Dean came up big with six kills in the decisive set, and the Panthers' blocking presence proved crucial in the 25-23 victory.
