CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2025 Baseball Preseason Poll on Wednesday afternoon.
Hanover finished second in the HCAC Preseason Poll with 70 points and three first place votes. Transylvania claimed the top spot with 79 points while Rose-Hulman finished third with 67 points.
The Panthers made history in 2024 sweeping the Conference by winning both the Regular Season Title and the Tournament Title and advancing to their first NCAA Division III Regional Tournament since joining the league.
The Panthers also return a slew of 2024 All-Conference honorees including HCAC Pitcher of the Year junior
John Girard (Richmond, Ky.) and HCAC Coach of the Year
Grant Bellak.
Hanover will open the 2025 campaign on Friday, Feb. 21 when they travel to Fayetteville, N.C. to take on the University of Mary Washington at 12:00 PM.
