Brandon Bensouda and senior
Ethan Weston (Mount Washington, Ky.) set school records to lead Hanover at the John Gartland Invitational hosted by Indiana State University.
ON THE TRACK
Bensouda claimed second in the 60-meter dash with a school record time of 6.96 seconds. He broke the previous record of 7.12 set in 2024.
Weston claimed the school record in the 3,000-meter run, finishing fifth in a time of 8:39.85. Weston broke the previous record of 8:46.06 set in 2019.
Junior
Layden Adair (Indianapolis, Ind.) claimed sixth in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 23.07 seconds.
In the 400-meter dash, sophomore
Jayden Enderle (Mooresville, Ind.) captured seventh crossing the finish line in a time of 52.12 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay junior
Gaven Followell (Mooresville, Ind.), sophomore
Sean Woods (Corydon, Ind.), junior
Anthony Lloyd (Columbus, Ind.), and junior
Andrew Goedde (Carmel, Ind.) finished fifth in a time of 3:37.59.
IN THE FIELD
Sophomore
Tommy Wilmoth (Magnolia, Ky.) finished sixth in the shot put with a distance of 14.63 meters.
Freshman
Alex Bower (Hope, Ind.) set a personal best in the long jump with a leap of 6.34 meters that landed her ninth.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, March 1 when they travel to Anderson for the HCAC Indoor Championships.
