BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hanover Track and Field team competed as part of the Billy Hayes Invitational Last Chance Meet on Friday afternoon.
The Panthers had a strong showing, highlighted by sophomore
Tommy Wilmoth, who threw a personal-best of 16.59 meters in the shot put. The mark currently ranks 15
th nationally in the NCAA Division III and qualifies him for the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Senior
Jessie Stenger captured fourth in the discus throw, registering a distance of 41.71 meters. She also landed sixth in the shot put, throwing a distance of 12.80 meters.
In the 400-meter hurdles, senior
Natalie Day finished ninth overall, crossing the finish line in a time of 1:08.92.
