MARION, Ind. – Hanover opened the outdoor season with a trip to Indiana Wesleyan for the Polar Bear Classic over the weekend.
 
ON THE TRACK
The 4x100-meter relay team of Anthony Lloyd, Layden Adair, Blaine Ison, and Brandon Bensouda captured second place with a time of 43.83 seconds.
 
Brandon Bensouda landed sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.01 seconds. He also claimed sixth place in the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.55 seconds.
 
In the 5,000-meter run, Ethan Weston claimed eighth place in a time of 15:13.74.
 
Grady Shay found success in the 110 hurdles claiming eighth place with a time of 15.72 seconds.
 
IN THE FIELD
Sean Woods took fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.86 meters.
 
Gaven Followell captured seventh in the javelin with a distance of 48.29 meters.
