MARIETTA, Ohio – Hanover (3-5 overall) surrendered a non-conference contest to the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan in seven innings on Friday evening, 18-6.

John Girard (Richmond, Ky.) got the start for the Panthers facing 16 batters with three strikeouts. He moved to 0-3 overall on the year.
Senior
Ashton Dickmann (Greenfield, Ind.) entered the contest in the second inning providing quality relief, striking out three.
Freshman
Brayden Ault (Elletsville, Ind.) rounded out the contest on the mound throwing two and a third innings with two strikeouts.

Eric Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) tallied two hits on four at-bats with two RBI. He provided a clutch hit in the bottom of the fifth inning, narrowly missing a home run off the left field wall plating two runs, 18-4.

Owen Boyce (Kennesaw, Ga.) and freshman
Evan Baute (Pittsboro, Ind.) charted an RBI.
The Panthers struggles fell within their defense as they recorded five errors through seven innings of action.
Hanover returns to the diamond on Saturday, March 8 when they take on North Central.
