BEREA, Ky. - The Panthers (11-16 overall, 7-5 HCAC) traveled to Berea, KY to take on the Mountaineers of Berea College and walked away with a split, dropping the first game 6-2 and winning the second game 12-1.

The only two runs were scored by Senior Jacob Danneman (Edgewood, KY) on a two RBI triple in the top of the eighth inning.
On The Bump

Dylan Lloyd (Colerain, OH) got the start for Hanover pitching six innings with five strikeouts and only walking one.
Freshman
Brayden Ault (Elletsville, Ind.) relieved the final two innings of the game allowing no earned runs and having one strikeout.

At The Dish
The Panthers put up nine runs in the first five innings of the game. Junior
Josh Simpson (Bardstown, KY) got the scoring started with an RBI single in the third inning. They then put a pair of four run innings up in the fourth and fifth innings thanks to a Senior
Reid Douglas (Rossville, IN) two RBI single to help start the streak.
Hanover proceeded to add three more runs to secure the run rule, all coming in three separate at bats.

Wyatt Colvin (Prospect, KY) had the entire game for the Panthers pitching seven innings allowing only one run on seven strikeouts.
Hanover hopes to walk away with two more wins when they play Manchester University in a doubleheader at home on April 13. Game Time is set for 1:00 PM EST.
