GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Panthers hit the road competing as part of the Indiana DIII Championships.
ON THE TRACK
Brandon Bensouda had success in the 100-meter dash, finishing third overall with a personal best time and school record time of 10.76 seconds.
He also turned in a third place mark in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.07 seconds.
Jayden Enderle posted a fifth place finish in the 400-meter run with a personal best time of 51.36 seconds.
In the 800-meter run,
Gabriel Vergara took third with a personal best time of 1:58.56.
Senior
Ethan Weston captured sixth in the 1,500-meter run with a personal best time of 4:08.44.
In the 110-meter hurdles,
Grady Shay landed fifth with a race time of 15.59 seconds. He also turned in a sixth place finish in the 400-meter hurdles.
Conner Watson took third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:40.86.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Anthony Llyod,
Layden Adair, Enderle, and Bensouda finished third with a time of 42.38 seconds.
IN THE FIELD
Tommy Wilmoth captured the top spot in the shot put with a personal best toss 16.05 meters. He also finished second in the discus throw with a distance of 43.39 meters. Wilmoth rounded out his meet with a fourth place mark in the hammer throw and another personal best toss.
In the javelin,
Gaven Followell registered a third place finish with a throw of 47.91 meters.
In the high jump,
Alex Bower took fourth with a height of 1.78 meters.
Alex Howard claimed sixth in the pole vault with a personal best height of 3.75 meters.
