HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panther football team has announced its 2025 schedule, with the season opener under head coach Matt Theobald slated for Saturday, Sept. 6, at Centre.
 
Hanover and Centre square off for the 13th time since 2010 and the fourth time as part of the season-opener. The last Panther win came in 2023 in Danville, Ky., 10-7.
 
The Blue and Red will celebrate Hall of Fame Day on Saturday, Sept. 13, when they host NCAA Division I foe Butler as part of the home opener at Alumni Stadium.
 
Hanover heads to Alma on Saturday, Sept. 20, before opening Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action with two of the top three teams in the league.
 
The Fightin' Engineers and Panthers square off in Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday, Oct. 4. Rose-Hulman captured a third-place finish a season ago in the HCAC, with Hanover finishing second overall. The Blue and Red defeated Rose-Hulman at home 37-16.
 
Hanover then hits the road to take on 2024 HCAC Champions Mount St. Joseph on Saturday, Oct. 11. The Panthers look to avenge a heartbreaking loss from a season ago that saw MSJ win 49-41.
 
The 2025 Hanover Homecoming is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 when the Ravens of Anderson come to town.
 
The Panthers will close out the regular season with the playing of the 95^th annual Victory Bell Game within the confines of Alumni Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 15. Hanover is the winner of the last three meetings and leads the overall series 48-43-3.
