TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Hanover Panthers (10-15, 6-4 HCAC) traveled north to take on the Rose Hulman Fightin' Engineers for the last two games of the three games series. The Panthers split on the day, walking away with the series win, taking game one 5-3.
GAME ONE
AT THE PLATE
Senior
Reid Douglas (Rossville, IN) got the scoring started for the Panthers in the first inning with a sacrifice fly.
Two more runs were tacked on in the third inning paced by Douglas. The final run was scored in the sixth inning with sophomore
Nickey Gutzwiller (Cincinnati, OH) scoring on a wild pitch.

Junior
John Girard (Richmond, Ky) got the start throwing seven innings, allowing only two runs, and striking out seven. Freshman
Brayden Ault (Ellettsville, IN) and Junior
Josh Simpson (Bardstown, KY) pitched relief.
GAME TWO
AT THE PLATE
The only Panther run came in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Junior
Owen Boyce (Kennesaw, GA).
ON THE HILL
Senior
Chris Hautman (Lawrenceburg, IN) started the game for Hanover throwing for five innings allowing only three hits and recording three strikeouts. Sophomore
Ashton Carie (Madison, IN) came into relief for two innings while Junior
Quinten Shewmaker (Floyd's Knobs, IN) closed out the contest.
Hanover returns to action hitting the road for a series in Berea, KY to take on Berea College on April 12. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
