TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Hanover Panther men's track and field team hit the track this afternoon, competing as part of the Fightin 'Engineers Invitational.
Hanover finished third overall in the five team field with 20 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior
Tommy Wilmoth finished second in the shot put with a school record toss of 16.00 meters. The throw also ranks him seventh among all of NCAA Division III.
He turned in a second place mark in the weight throw with a distance of 15.12 meters.
Sophomore
Sean Woods dominated the pole vault, taking the top spot with a height of 4.35 meters.
Sophomore
Alex Bower took second in the long jump, with a distance of 5.98 meters. He also secured second in the triple jump with a leap of 11.58 meters.
Senior
Anthony Lloyd finished second in the 60-meter dash prelims, crossing the finish line in a time of 7.17 seconds. The time would edge into fourth overall among Hanover all-time.
Senior
Layden Adair captured fourth in the 60-meter finals, with a time of 7.24 seconds. He also took fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.88 seconds.
Junior
Jayden Enderle crossed the finish line fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.22 seconds.
