GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Hanover (8-5 overall) dropped a non-conference contest on Saturday at Depauw, falling to the Tigers 3-1 (25-22, 22-25, 23-25, 13-25).
 
INSIDE THE STATS
Hanover was led by senior Elliot Mays with a team-high 17 kills. She posted a .297 hitting percentage and added four digs.
 
Senior Kelsey Waggoner dominated the back row, recording 26 digs. Three other Panthers landed in double digits: junior Abbey McCoy, sophomore Madison Schicker, and sophomore Natalie West.
 
PLAY-BY-PLAY
The lone Panther set win came in set one, 25-22. Hanover was paced by West with success at the serving line. They used a five point rally mid set led by Waggoner to knot the score 15-15. The momentum shift came when sophomore  Brooke Gervers at the service line, propelling Hanover to the victory.
 
Hanover returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 23 when they head to Asbury.
