ANDERSON, Ind. – Hanover (13-10 overall, 9-7 HCAC) competed in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening hitting the road for Anderson, falling to the Ravens 80-71.

William Herald led the Panthers with a team-high 19 points, including five made three-pointers. He also added five rebounds.

CJ Walls tallied 15 points while sophomore
Malachi McNair netted 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening half saw both teams exchange scores when a Herald three-pointer at the 13 minute mark pushed Hanover on top 16-13. However, Anderson was able to capture a double-digit lead moments later netting eight straight points, including a pair of three-pointers, for the 28-18 advantage.
Hanover was able to cut the score to 33-29 following scores by Walls and McNair. Sophomore
Jack Miller got the final bucket of the half for the Blue and Red pulling them within 42-33.
The second half would see the Ravens soar to a 54-34 advantage as they outscored Hanover 10-2. Anderson never really looked back continuing to fire on all cylinders en route to the 80-71 victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday when they head to HCAC rival Franklin. Game time is slated for 1:00 PM.
