STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Panthers (0-2 overall) fell in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Franciscan, 25-19.

Sophomore
Kasey Hospelhorn led the Panther attack with a team-high five goals on 10 shots. He also collected 18 ground balls. At the dot, Hospelhorn went 24-of-34.
Sophomore
Dean Henderson added four goals on 12 shots, 10 of which landed on frame. Senior
Colin O'Brien also had four goals on seven shots.

Matthew Hillard got the start playing 38 minutes with five saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After allowing two quick goals, the Panthers began to settle in as freshman
Mack Langridge found the back of the net with 9:48 remaining in the first, 2-1.
Hospelhorn went to work later in the frame as he delt back-to-back blows cutting the difference to 5-3.
The second period saw the Panther offense find its groove as O'Brien, Henderson and junior
Gabe Hetrick all found the back of the net.
O'Brien tallied his second of the quarter with 9:30 remaining, pulling HC within 13-7. His teammate, freshman
Jack Deweese entered the scorer's column followed by Henderson for his second of the afternoon.
Hanover closed out the contest with a six goal fourth quarter as Deweese netted the game's final strike at the 3:37 mark.
Hanover returns to action on Monday, Feb. 23 when they travel to Bethany.
