CARMEL, Ind. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the All-Conference honorees with two Panthers being recognized.
Sophomore
Malachi McNair claimed First Team honors while junior
CJ Walls was awarded Honorable Mention accolades.
MALACHI MCNAIR
The junior led the HCAC in rebounding averaging 11.0 per game and ranked fourth in scoring averaging 16.6 points per game.
He averaged a league leading 3.6 offensive boards per contest with a conference best 86 offensive rebounds. He also posted the best field goal percentage at 68.4 and ranked second in field goals made at 175.
He finished the season with 15 double-doubles, including a 20-20 game on December 30 against Geneva.
CJ WALLS
Walls finished the year ranked second among the team in scoring averaging 13.0 points per game and rebounds at 5.3 rebounds per contest. He finished the year shooting 44.7 percent from the floor, with 44 made three-pointers.
He ranked among the top 10 in the HCAC in assists and 13
th overall in scoring.
