Baseball Surrenders Game Three with Keystone

Myrtle Beach, SC - Hanover (3-3 overall) took on Keystone College for the final game of their three game series, falling 16-4.

At The Plate

The scoring for Hanover started in the fourth inning on a senior Joshua Simpson (Bardstown, KY) sacrifice fly. The last of the Panther runs came in the seventh inning of play where they scored three runs thanks to Freshman Theo Kramer (Indianapolis, IN), Freshman Alek Yuskewich (Walton, KY), and Junior Nathan Julius (New Albany, IN).

 On The Hill

Senior John Girard (Richmond, KY) lasted four innings striking out four. Sophomore Riken Burkett came into relief for one and a third innings allowing only one hit and striking out one. Senior Jack Woodard (Carmel, IN) cleaned up the sixth inning with a double play ball with the bases loaded. Freshman duo Zach Mason (Fishers, IN) and Karson Griggs (Kokomo, IN) closed the game for the Blue and Red.
