HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (3-4 overall) dominated the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson on Saturday afternoon, winning the non-conference contest 19-6.

Freshman Jack DeWeese and sophomore Kasey Hospelhorn paced the Panther offense, netting five goals apiece. DeWeese finished the afternoon with seven total points, dishing out two assists.
 
Senior Matthew Hillard got the win in frame collecting 13 saves.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers surged past the Presidents in non-conference action dominating from the opening face-off. Leading the attack was the duo of freshman Jack DeWeese and sophomore Kasey Hospelhorn en route to a 6-3 first quarter lead.
 
Sophomore Evan Neuswanger claimed his first career goal at the 10:32 mark in the first frame, while his teammate, senior Aidan Gonzalez claimed his first career assist on a junior Gabe Hetrick goal. The Panthers entered the intermission leading 9-3.
 
Hanover continued to add to its lead in the second half, as DeWeese used some fancy stick work midway through the third quarter to push the difference 14-5. Hospelhorn added his fifth goal of the afternoon with 12:44 remaining as Hanover secured the 20-6 win. Seven different Panthers scored in the contest, with sophomore Dean Henderson putting the exclamation point on the victory.
