Lexington, KY - Hanover (11-16, 6-7 HCAC) continued their three game series against Transylvania (RV) on Saturday afternoon splitting the day with a game three win in 11 innings 12-11.

GAME ONE
AT THE DISH
The Panthers scored their only two runs of the game in the eighth inning with Freshman Michael Kirk (Loveland, IN) and Senior Josh Simpson (Bardstown, KY) having the two RBI's.

ON THE BUMP
Senior John Girard (Richmond, KY) got tasked with the start lasting seven innings striking out six and allowing only two runs.
 
GAME TWO
AT THE DISH
The Panthers came out swinging scoring four runs in the first inning with Freshman Keegan Gulley (Alexandria, KY) starting it on a two RBI single to center. 

They were down six runs going into the ninth and were able to stay alive putting up a six spot to go to extras. Freshman Michael Kirk got the winning run across in the eleventh inning scoring Freshman Jack Shaeffer (West Lafayette, IN).

ON THE BUMP
Sophomore Wyatt Colvin (Prospect, KY) got handed the game ball lasting six innings allowing only three earned and striking out three. Josh Simpson closed it out in extras lasting three and a third innings giving up no runs and striking out four.

The Panthers look to add to their win column when they take on Manchester University in a doubleheader on April 18. Game times are set for 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM EST.
