Underclassmen Shine in Dominate Win Over Berea

HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (13-16 overall, 8-7 HCAC) went yard in sweep of Berea on Sunday afternoon, winning game one 8-2 and game two in seven innings 16-6.
 
GAME ONE
HOW IT HAPPENED

Hanover delivered a dominant performance at K.T. Young Ballpark on Sunday, rolling past Berea 8–2 behind a breakout offensive inning and strong pitching.
 
After a quiet start, Hanover took control of the game in the fourth inning, erupting for six runs that completely flipped the script. The highlight of the afternoon came when freshman Kadin Bush launched a monstrous grand slam, blowing the game wide open. His big swing proved to be the game changing moment, putting Hanover firmly in command.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Bush finished as one of the game's top performers, leading the charge offensively with his home run and multiple RBIs. He also added a triple.
 
On the mound, senior Will Rodriguez earned the win with a strong outing, going seven innings while limiting Berea to just two runs.
 
GAME TWO
HOW IT HAPPENED

The Panthers wasted little time setting the tone, using their offensive power and timely hits to seize control early. Hanover piled up 15 hits in the game, en route to a commanding lead.
 
A defining moment came from freshman Ethan King, who tallied his first collegiate home run in the fifth inning. The blast highlighted a big day at the plate for King, who not only drove in runs but also added a sacrifice fly, contributing to Hanover's relentless offensive output.

On the mound, freshman Parker Heaney turned in a strong outing, earning the win after working six innings and limiting damage while the offense built a cushion. The bullpen followed with a clean finish to secure the victory.
