The Women's Track & Field Team Takes Seventh at DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers competed at the Indiana DIII Championships finishing seventh overall.
 
ON THE TRACK
Senior Callie Swegman captured fourth overall in the 5,000-meter run, crossing the finish line with a time of 18:21.09. Her teammate, freshman Hailey McKain ran personal best time in the event with a time of 21:47.30.
 
In the 400-meter hurdles, senior Lawson Phillips claimed fifth with a time of 1:21.61.
 
Senior Elyse Wilson crossed the finish line in sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:16.52, moves her into ninth all-time.
 
In the 1,500-meter run, freshman Jennifer Guevara and freshman Ally Greenwell both set personal records.
 
IN THE FIELD
Junior Cheyeann Leslie secured a fifth place mark in the discus throw with a personal best distance of 35.27 meters, while also taking seventh in the shot put with a toss of 10.31 meters.
 
Freshman Clare Endris added a personal best in the shot put.
