LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Hanover women's track and field team hit the track as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship, finishing ninth overall.
IN THE FIELD
Senior
Kennadi Lakins secured seventh overall in the long jump with a leap of 4.85 meters. She also placed eighth in the high jump with a height of 1.38 meters.
Sophomore
Cheyeann Leslie finished seventh in the shot put with a toss of 11.10 meters.
ON THE TRACK
Senior
Elyse Wilson claimed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the finish line with a time of 12:17.78.
Senior
Callie Swegman ran a strong race in the 10,000-meter run, finishing fifth with a race time of 40:31.60. She also placed fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:35.25.
Macy Cline posted an eighth place finish in the 800-meter run, crossing the finish line with a personal best time of 2:26.47.

Kristyn Greenwell, and Lakins posted a fifth place finish in a time of 54.76.
