Hanover's offense collected 11 hits, led by sophomore Ben Brittinghan, who went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI single in the sixth inning. Freshman
Kadin Bush also had a productive day, going 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, including a key two-run single in the eighth that extended the Panther lead.
Junior
Ben Morwick contributed two RBIs on groundouts in the third and seventh innings. Senior
Josh Simpson added an insurance run in the top of the ninth with an RBI single to left field.
On The Bump:

John Girard earned the win (3-4) with a stellar start, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing only two hits and one unearned run while striking out seven. Sophomore
Wyatt Colvin provided 1.2 innings of relief before turning the ball over in the ninth.
Josh Simpson moved from designated hitter to the mound in the final frame to earn his second save of the season. He threw one inning, striking out one and allowing no hits to seal the win for Hanover.
The Panthers continue their series against Anderson University tomorrow, May 2, with a doubleheader scheduled for 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
