Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Hanover College women's tennis team improved their win streak to four matches as they defeated area rival Franklin, 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Panthers were led in the match by senior Mia Katzenberger (Crawfordsville, Ind.) posting a perfect day claiming number three doubles with junior Haley Parker (Leo, Ind.), 8-0 before sweeping number four singles.
Senior Cami Jones (Richmond, Ind.) and senior Meghan Farrell (Indianapolis, Ind.) claimed one doubles (8-1), while senior Lizzy Katzenberger (Crawfordsville, Ind.) and sophomore Maddie Shannon (Anderson, Ind.) got the victory at two doubles (8-2).
The success continued into singles action as Jones won number one singles 6-0, 6-2. Her partner, Farrell would capture the victory at number two singles, 6-3, 6-0.
The Blue and Red dominance continued as Katenberger won number three singles and teammates Parker and Shannon swept five and six singles.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, October 5 as they welcome Rose-Hulman to campus. First serve is set for noon.
