Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers dominated the Earlham Quakers in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon, winning the match 8-1.
 
The Blue and Red opened the afternoon sweeping doubles action as the team of junior Isabelle Roberts (Brownsburg, Ind.) and junior Melaina Tippery (Loogootee, Ind.)captured no. 1 doubles in impressive fashion, 8-0.
 
At no. 2 doubles, the team of junior Rachel Pinnick (Franklin, Ind.) and sophomore Lauren Hale (Crawfordsville, Ind.) served past the Quakers 8-2, while sophomore Lyla Waskom (Scottsburg, Ind.) and freshman Hailey Vandeventer (Bloomington, Ind.) completed the sweep with an 8-2 win.
 
In singles action, Pinnick registered her second victory of the afternoon as she captured no. 2 singles in dominate fashion 6-0, 6-0.
 
Roberts won no. 3 singles in similar fashion before Vandeventer picked up the 6-4, 6-4 win at no. 4 singles.
 
At the no. 5 singles spot, Waskom deemed clutch winning 6-2, 6-1 with Hale picking up the final victory 6-0, 6-0.
 
Hanover returns to action on Sunday, October 2 when they welcome area rival Franklin.
