Box Score LOUISVILLE, KY. – The Hanover Panthers took on the University of Dallas on Wednesday afternoon using a balanced attack to win the contest by a significant margin, 20-2.
Senior
Anne Breeding (Miamisburg, Ohio) conducted the Panther attack with a game-high six goals, while senior
Milah Young (Granger, Ind.) added five goals and two other Panthers tacked on four strikes.
The opening frame would see the Blue and Red surge ahead 6-1 paced by a hat trick from sophomore
Masi McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.).
The offensive domination continued as Young added a hat trick midway through the second frame, extending the Panther lead to 8-1.
Hanover entered the intermission with the convincing 12-1 advantage, after Breeding connected on her fourth goal of the afternoon.
The second half saw the Panther assault on net continue as senior
Eme Edman (Niles, Mich.) made her way into the score's column extending the difference to 16-2 at the end of third period.
Hanover tacked on four more goals with senior
Britney Hernandez (Louisville, Ky.) charting a hat trick to propel HC to victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, March 19 when they welcome Kalamazoo to Alumni Stadium. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
