Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers hosted non-conference foe Midway on Thursday afternoon, falling in the contest 5-4.
 
The Panthers tallied a strong showing in doubles action as the team of senior Maddie Shannon (Anderson, Ind.) and freshman Linde Meerpoel (Wolvertem, Belgium) picked up the 8-5 victory as part of no. 1 doubles with teammates sophomore Isabelle Roberts (Brownsburg, Ind.) and sophomore Melaina Tippery (Loogootee, Ind.) winning no. 3 doubles 8-6.
 
In singles action, Meerpoel continued to have success as she won her no. 2 singles match 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
 
Tippery picked up the team's final win at no. 3 singles winning 6-4, 6-1.
 
Hanover returns to action on Friday, March 25 when they host Indiana University Southeast.
