Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers dominated the Ravens of Anderson on a chilly Saturday afternoon, taking down the Ravens 13-2. With the win, Hanover moves to 6-4 overall, 2-0 HCAC.
The Hanover Panthers saw four players record multiple goals. Senior
Delaney Benner (Indianapolis, Ind.) picked up the win in frame playing a complete 60 minutes with 10 saves.
Hanover struck first with senior
Anne Breeding (Miamisburg, Ohio) providing the blow as she took a pass from senior
Milah Young (Granger, Ind.) for the 1-0 advantage.
Breeding continued her assault on net as she collected her second goal of the afternoon with 13 minutes remaining in the second frame to push HC on top, 2-1. They extended their lead following goals by Young and senior
Britney Hernandez (Louisville, Ky.) that saw HC claim the 4-1 advantage.
The Panthers final goal of the first half came from the stick of Young as she propelled Hanover into the intermission leading 6-1.
The goal surge continued into the second half as Hernandez pegged two more goals to extend the Panther lead to 9-1.
The Blue and Red finished the contest with four fourth quarter goals in rout to the HCAC victory.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, April 13 when they welcome Earlham to Alumni Stadium. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
