GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Senior
Zaleeya Martin (Shelbyville, Ind.) paced the Panthers on Friday evening as part of the Tim Hreha Memorial Invite hosted by DePauw University.
Hanover finished second in the four team field.
Martin turned in another strong meet, winning the 60-meter dash with a top time of 7.95 seconds. She also took first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.24 seconds.
The senior also took second in the long jump with a distance of 4.85 meters
Junior
Amberleigh Sorensen (Yorktown, Ind.) turned in a first place finish in the one mile in a time of 5:23.29, the mark ranks among the Hanover all-time top 10.
Junior
Natalie Day (Sellersburg, Ind.) won the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.78 seconds while also taking fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 28.06 seconds.
In the 5,000-meter run, freshman
Sarah Jones (Greencastle, Ind.) notched a runner-up finish with a time of 20:00.76.
In the 800-meter run, junior
Elizabeth Wahlman (Butlerville, Ind.) turned in a fifth place mark crossing the finish line with a time of 2:50.37.
Junior
Lili Seals (Paoli, Ind.) found success in the field events taking second in the high jump with a leap of 1.37 meters.
In the pole vault, junior
Ally McGuire (Guilford, Ind.) took second with a height of 2.65 meters, while teammate junior
Aliza Boles (Lexington, Ind.) turned in a third place finish with a mark of 2.65 meters.
Senior
Lydia Lupinski (Zionsville, Ind.) captured the top spot in the weight throw with a distance of 14.04 meters.
Senior
Jessica Beckman (Glenwood, Ind.) turned in a second place finish in the shot put with a toss of 12.50 meters while Lupinski finished third with a throw of 10.47 meters.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 11 when they compete at Mount St. Joseph.
