CARMEL, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers are set to compete as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Transylvania University on Thursday, May 11 through Sunday, May 14. The Panthers make their second consecutive HCAC Tournament berth.
Hanover landed the no. 5 seed and will take on no. 4 seed Manchester on Thursday, May 11 at 10:00 AM.
The Panthers enter the weekend at 15-23 overall and 7-9 HCAC.
The two teams met earlier this season battling to a twin bill split. Manchester claimed game one 7-2 while the Blue and Red took the night cap 10-2 in five innings.
Hanover currently ranks fourth among the HCAC in batting average, hits, and total bases.
With a win, Hanover would advance to play no. 1 seed Transylvania at 3:00 PM. If the Panthers drop game one, they return to the diamond on Friday, May 12 at 10:00 AM.
