BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Jessica Beckman (Glenwood, Ind.) and sophomore Jessie Stenger (Brookville, Ind.) propelled themselves into the national rankings over the weekend after strong finishes at the Billy Hayes Invitational.
 
Beckman has a solid grip on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship in the discus throw after a school record throw of 45.74 meters landed her eighth among NCAA qualifiers. The senior also competed in the shot put with a mark of 12.52 meters.
 
Teammate, Stenger sling shotted herself to a top 10 NCAA ranking in the shot put after a school record toss of 14.26 meters. She currently ranks ninth nationally.
 
On the men's side, senior Nick Stroud (Leavenworth, Ind.) also competed as part of the meet taking 11^th in the discus with a throw of 45.25 meters. He also competed as part of the hammer throw finishing fifth with a throw of 51.23 meters.
 
Rounding out the meet was senior Jake Kehoe (Lagrange, Ky.) who took ninth in the shot put with a distance of 15.11 meters.
