Box Score NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Hanover women's tennis team opened the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference season with a sweep of Manchester, 7-0.
 
The Panthers opened the match sweeping doubles action as the no. 1 doubles team of freshman Cami Crist (Noblesville, Ind.) and freshman Annamarie Stodsgill (Nineveh, Ind.) won 6-2.
 
The team of freshman Madelyn Santner (Bloomington, Ind.) and sophomore Hailey Vandeventer (Bloomington, Ind.) won no. 2 doubles 6-3.
 
The success carried to singles action as Santner won no. 1 singles 6-1, 6-0.  
 
Vandeventer swept the match as she won no. 2 singles 6-2, 6-4 while teammate Crist won no. 3 singles 6-1, 6-3.
 
Hale claimed victory at no. 4 swingles 6-3, 6-3 with freshman Kiya White (Newburgh, Ind.) winning no. 5 singles 6-1, 6-1.
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 19 when they welcome Berea.
