Box Score 2 HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (10-24 overall, 5-9 HCAC) completed the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference sweep of Anderson on Saturday afternoon winning game one 3-1 and taking game two 8-1. Prior to the contest, Hanover celebrated Senior Day!
GAME ONE

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the win in the circle pitching a complete game with two strikeouts. The junior allowed just three runs on four hits.

Anderson looked to rally in the fifth inning plating one run before Hanover retired the side.

Carson Kruse (Fort Branch, Ind.) propelled Hanover in front with a bang in the third inning as the junior went yard propelling HC on top 2-0. Junior
Alex Miller (Miamisburg, Ohio) claimed the final RBI of the inning to push HC out front 3-0.
Anderson threatened in the bottom of the fifth inning loading the bases before relief pitcher freshman
Avery Southern (Mitchell, Ind.) forced a pop out to right field, 3-1.
The Panthers added insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth inning plating five runs on four hits. Beaman paced the attack with a single to left field before a Kruse RBI to left field pushed the difference to 6-1. The final run of the afternoon came from the bat of junior
Dani Steward (Shelbyville, Ind.) as HC secured the 8-1 win.
