Panthers Display Success as Part of the ITA Regionals

KALAMAZOO, Mich.
– The Hanover Panthers hit the road over the weekend competing as part of the ITA Division III Central Regional Championships.
 
Freshman Madelyn Santner (Bloomington, Ind.) led Hanover becoming the first Panthers to advance to the C-Quarterfinal as part of the ITA Regional Championships. The freshman won the round of 32 match 6-1, 6-4 over the opponent from Anderson before winning the round of 16 match 7-5, 7-5 over the opponent of Trine. 
 
In doubles action, freshman Annamarie Stogsdill (Nineveh, Ind.) and freshman Cami Crist (Noblesville, Ind.) posted an impressive weekend advancing to the Semifinals. The duo made history by winning the round of 16 in the consolation bracket 7-5 over Otterbein. The success continued as they advanced to the semifinals before surrendering 8-0.
 
Hanover returns to the courts on Saturday, Oct. 5 as part of Homecoming welcoming Shawnee State.
