CARMEL, Ind. – Senior Rodrigo Gutierrez Olvera Gonzalez was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
 
Gutierrez recorded a clean sheet as the Panthers defeated Rose-Hulman 2-0 in their HCAC opener. The senior recorded 90 minutes in frame, making four saves.
 
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 8 when they travel to Mount St. Joseph.
