CARMEL, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers are set to compete at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Transylvania starting on Thursday and running through Saturday at Pat Deacon Stadium.
ON THE TRACK
Blaine Ison enters the weekend ranked third among the league in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.85 seconds, the leader sitting in the top spot with a time of 10.83 seconds.
His teammates,
Brandon Bensouda and
Anthony Lloyd sit fifth and sixth, respectively.
Jayden Enderle and Ison both rank among the top 10 in the 200-meter run.
Enderle sits sixth in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.20 seconds.
Senior
Conner Watson looks to claim the top spot in the steeplechase currently ranking second while also sitting sixth overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:04.04. He also ranks fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:30.50.
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Kingston Dugan, Lloyd, Ison, and Bensouda own the top spot in the event with a time of 41.85 seconds.
IN THE FIELD
Tommy Wilmoth, who earned All-American honors during the Indoor season, ranks as the favorite to win the Outdoor HCAC Championships in the shot put with a distance of 17.22 meters. He ranks third in the discus.
In the high jump, Lloyd sits second with a mark of 1.90 meters.
Sean Woods will make a strong push for the top spot in the pole vault, sitting second with a height of 4.50 meters.
Brandon Ellison ranks third in the long jump with a distance of 6.85 meters. His teammate,
Alex Bower sits fourth in the event.
