MARION, Ind. – Hanover opened the outdoor season with a trip to Indiana Wesleyan for the Polar Bear Classic over the weekend.
ON THE TRACK
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Amaya Barton,
Emma Gill,
Ally McGuire, and
Natalie Day won the event with a time of 52.78 seconds.
In the 400 hurdles,
Natalie Day finished sixth overall in a time of 1:11.24.
Callie Swegman displayed success in the 5,000-meter run, taking sixth in the event with a time of 18:24.97. Her teammate,
Lanie Roberts captured 13
th in a time of 18:46.55.
IN THE FIELD
Kennadi Lakins finished sixth in the javelin with a distance of 27.83 meters.
